OneDrive

OneDrive is Microsoft's cloud storage service for personal accounts.

ExpanDrive lets you connect to your OneDrive storage so you can manage files directly from your desktop. This connector is for personal Microsoft accounts only. If you're connecting to a work or school account, use the OneDrive for Business connector instead.

OneDrive Authentication

ExpanDrive uses OAuth authentication. You sign in with Microsoft and authorize ExpanDrive to access your files. Microsoft returns a token that ExpanDrive stores in your operating system's credential store.

Nickname

The nickname appears as the mounted volume name in Finder on macOS or File Explorer on Windows.
