IDrive e2

IDrive e2 is an S3-compatible object storage service. ExpanDrive mounts an IDrive e2 bucket using its regional endpoint and access keys.

Connection Parameters

Server

Enter the regional endpoint for your IDrive e2 account. Access keys are specific to the endpoint where they were created.

Access Key

The access key is your unique identifier for authentication. Keys can be generated from the Access Keys tab of the IDrive e2 account.

Secret Key

The secret key is your private authentication key that pairs with your access key. This is like a password.

When you save the connection, ExpanDrive stores the secret key in your operating system's credential store.

Nickname

The nickname identifies the connection and appears as the volume label on the mounted drive.
